On October 28, 2021, the National Magnetic Levitation Transportation Engineering Technology Research Center of Tongji University held an expert evaluation for acceptance meeting for the Project “trial production of engineering products for the high-speed magnetic levitation central control and operation and the simulation test and verification platform for control and operation” under the outsourced trial production contract of the “13th Five-Year Plan” National Key Research and Development Program Project” at Thales SEC Transport Automation Systems Co., Ltd. The expert group listened to the project results report of the contracted unit, Thales SEC Transport, reviewed the acceptance materials, and unanimously agreed after questioning and discussion that the Project “trial production of engineering products for the high-speed magnetic levitation central control and operation and the simulation test and verification platform for control and operation” was accepted.
The task “Simulation Verification of and Optimization Design Research of Key High-Speed Magnetic Levitation Transportation System Technology” was set under the topic “Key Technology Research on High-Speed Magnetic Levitation Transportation System” of the national science and technology support program of the “13th Five-Year Plan” for purpose of carrying out the simulation verification and optimization research of high-speed maglev transportation system with 600km/h independent products and engineering applications as the objective, and in reliance on the results and experience of the special research of high-speed magnetic levitation during the 10th Five-Year Plan period to the 12th Five-Year Plan period. As one of the sub-tasks of the “Simulation Verification and Design Optimization of Key High-Speed Maglev Transportation System Technology”, the project task undertaken by Thales SEC Transport is to establish a simulation test and verification platform for the function, performance and system integration of key components based on the simulation and verification research results of the high-speed maglev operation control system.
The successful acceptance of the Project “trial production of engineering products for the high-speed magnetic levitation central control and operation and the simulation test and verification platform for control and operation” will further strengthen and promote the close partnership between Thales SEC Transport and Tongji University in the research and industry innovation practice of forward-looking scientific research tasks.
