Nanchang Line 4 Released Safety Certificate for Trial Passenger Loading Operation

As the main backbone of rail transit line network of Nanchang, Nanchang Line 4 starts from Baimashan Station and ends at Yuweizhou Station, linking key urban development areas including Wangcheng New District, Jiulong Lake New City, Changnan New City, Chaoyang New City, Center of Old City, Qingshan Lake District and Hi-Tech District and covering the main development axis on the east bank of Ganjiang River.  With the total length of 39.60km, it has 29 stations, 4 of which are elevated stations, 25 of which are underground stations, and one yard and one section.

Nanchang Line 4 is the third cross-river line in Nanchang and also the third line that Thales SEC Transport has participated in construction of in Nanchang. The system products provided by Thales SEC Transport this time are the new generation of Seltrac™ CBTC products that have been optimized and improved on the basis of Nanchang Metro Lines 1 and 2 to meet the needs of Nanchang customers.

Nanchang Line 4 began its on-site installation this March and completed nearly 40 kilometers of main line, survey, equipment installation, powered testing, high speed train debugging and other tasks for the vehicle section and parking lot in only six months. The empty-load test run safety certificate was issued for the Signalling System on September 13 and passenger-load test run safety certificate was issued on October 25. With the spirit of working hard and plunging ahead of difficulties, the team of Nanchang Line 4 overcame various difficulties such as tight lead time of supply, insufficient on-site debugging time and non-availability of external resources, and completed all the milestone targets set with the customer on time or even ahead of schedule.

Nanchang Line 4 is currently in the final stage before opening for operation. The team of Nanchang Line 4 will continue to work hard with the spirit of craftsmanship, speed up the correction of defects, adjust the system and equipment to the best condition and smoothly put Line 4 into initial operation without letting go of  any small problem.
